Keyword / image number searching Type a keyword or image number in the search field at the top left of your screen and click the search button. Start with fewer words, you can narrow your search by adding more key words depending on how many thumbnails appear in your search results. When Pacific Photos images are loaded we identify them with descriptive keywords, these can be seen beside an image once you have clicked on the thumbnail to view it in a larger preview. For example an image of a dog with a ball will appear in your search results whether you type "dog" or "ball" in the keyword field. If you are searching for something as specific as a red rose, type "rose" in the keyword window rather than "flower" which is a much broader term. The same image would however appear in your search results if you type "red" or "petal", but you would likely have more images to look through. 2b. Category Searching We have grouped images into general broad categories which you can browse by clicking on the subject from the drop-down menu at the left of the screen. 2c.
